The pea harvesting season is a very important event in the East Riding of Yorkshire with a select group of hauliers working night and day to ensure that the peas are transported as quickly as possible between field and factory. Vehicle downtime has a dramatic effect upon both the efficiency of this process and compliance with the haulier’s contractual obligations.
One of these hauliers contacted us one afternoon to say that the tachograph in his vehicle had stopped working and asked if we could help him in-between loads. Our authorised tachograph technicians investigated the fault the moment he arrived and quickly diagnosed the issue. Following a rapid repair, he was soon on his way.
