A haulier from the York area contacted us to discuss his planned maintenance needs. He explained that he had no particular issues with his current provider, but one of his major clients was insisting upon regular brake testing as a contractual obligation for all of the road haulage companies it dealt with.
His existing maintenance provider had no brake testing equipment and was unable to accommodate them on his premises.
Following a meeting between us, we took over the planned maintenance of his fleet, including regular brake tests. Our workshop admin team now plan his maintenance for him and pre-books the workshop visits in advance, freeing up time for his transport manager. He is now fully compliant with the contractual obligations he has agreed with his client.
